As Zydeco’s owners, we set out to create a special restaurant that strikes the perfect balance between refined dining and a busy diner. The space we had in mind did not already exist in the historic heart of Hermann, Missouri, so we built a beautiful new restaurant with a gorgeous bar and landscaped patio from the ground up.
So, what led a couple raised in Kentucky to attempt to bring the vibrant flavors of Louisiana to the Midwest? The answer lies in our shared delight with the magic of Louisiana and its rich culinary heritage. Every trip we took to the Bayou State left us in awe of the tantalizing spiciness of andouille sausage, the complex flavors of a perfectly crafted gumbo, and the thrill of seeking out the finest oyster po'boy the region has to offer.
